2020 Fee Guide

A significant amount of Cook’s School Day Care Inc’s expenses are covered by the fees we collect for our service. To assist with covering the higher operating costs, some of the fees will increase effective January 1, 2020.

See the 2020 fee guides for Centre-based care and home-based care.

The annual administration fee will be due from all families on your first pre-authorized debit transaction in January 2020 (beginning with the families whoa re scheduled to pay fees on the January 1st transaction). Exception: new families who paid the fee in October, November, or December 2019 are exempt.

The new 2020 fees will take effect first for the families who pay once a month on the December 15th pre-authorized debit transaction. The remainder of the families will begin to pay the new fees on the January 1st transaction.

Thank you for your continued support!

Accessible Washroom & Entrances – We have big news!

The washroom on the 2nd floor is being renovated to add one accessible and one regular toilet!

Construction starts right after Labour Day. Fisher Construction (who built our addition) is completing this job, too. All work will safely happen behind a hoarding wall to ensure the children are separated from the workers and hazards. Workers will use the west entrance to access the work area.

During construction, the female children will continue to share the staff washroom and the male children will be escorted to the first floor washrooms (accordion doors are in place for privacy).

Also, the front door and elevator doors are being automated – date to be confirmed.

Cook’s School Day Care Inc is fortunate to have received funding support from Employment and Social Development Canada and the County of Northumberland to make these jobs possible. Very exciting!
